Job summary

Novelis Ashville is seeking an Operations Training Coordinator to drive the site’s Education & Training system in alignment with CI programs. This role develops training plans, manages the LMS, and supports new-hire integration while ensuring compliance with NOS standards.

Ideally, candidates will have 5+ years in manufacturing training, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with LMS, data analytics, and cross‑functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience delivering or coordinating adult learning/training, preferably in manufacturing.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage several workstreams in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Link training to losses and plant KPIs using root cause analysis and KPI trees.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, HR, and other departments to build training plans by work center.
• Maintain the LMS (assignments, records, certifications) and generate training status reports.
• Coordinate new-hire orientation and support pre-employment assessments.
• Assist with implementation of NOS standards and CI programs across the site.
• Support training compliance with ISO and other certifications where applicable.
