Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Indianapolis, IN seeks an Operations Technician to operate complex process equipment per training, process documents and 5S standards.

You will support coating and/or plating for aerospace applications, assist maintenance with troubleshooting, inspect parts with hand tools, and perform minor adjustments. The role requires lifting up to 40 pounds and PPE usage in a production setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, comprehend and understand work instructions and technical specifications.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Must pass the essential job function physical requirements.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Exposure to production environment with PPE as required.

• In this role, you will operate complex process equipment in a plant according to training, process documents, and 5S standards
• You will operate and maintain equipment that applies coating and/or plating for aerospace applications
• You will assist maintenance in trouble shooting and correction of equipment malfunctions or repairs and reporting any faults to management and maintenance
• You may be requiredto inspect parts, use hand tools and make minor and routine adjustments toproduction equipment without assistance

• Youwill work in a production environment that may include exposure to noise,dust, vibration, heat, cold, and industrial chemicals while wearingrequired personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Abilityto visually inspect parts, materials, and process conditions to identifydefects, damage, contamination, or other nonconforming conditions
• Abilityto wear safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirators,protective clothing, and other PPE as required by the task or work area
• You must have all of the above requirements plus you will have a minimum of3 years of experience in a technical role in a manufacturing and/or aerospace environment
