Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking a Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm), Monday-Friday. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain mechanical equipment in a powder production plant.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of industrial maintenance, can read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints, and is proficient with Microsoft Office. Weekend coverage may be required, and CCMS database experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 3–5 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) are required.
• CCMS database experience is preferred.
• Occasional weekend coverage may be required.
• Training may be required on first shift as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, modify, and maintain mechanical equipment and systems in a powder production plant.
• Support and participate in safety initiatives and policies.
• Ensure equipment documentation is complete and properly processed.
• Maintain and update documents for maintenance and facilities.
• Communicate repair timelines and document findings in the CCMS database.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and plant systems.

What you will enjoy doing

• You will troubleshoot, repair,install, modify, and maintain mechanical equipment & systems in apowder production plant
• Further you will support andparticipate in current and new safety initiatives / policies business needs
• You will ensure all equipmentdocumentation is complete and properly processed
• Additionally, you will maintain and updatenecessary documents as they pertain to the maintenance and facilitiesdepartment
• You will communicate equipmentrepair timelines and document findings in the plant CCMS database
• And youwill perform preventivemaintenance on equipment and plant systems

What makes you great

• A High School diploma / GED isrequired
• Further you must have three to five (3-5) yearsIndustrial Maintenance experience
• You also must have experiencereading and understanding electrical schematics; and mechanical blueprints
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Suiteare necessary for this role
• Experience in any CCMS database is preferred
