FLSmidth in Sioux City seeks a Head of Operations and Technical Services to lead machine shop, repair, alignment/grinding, and specialized services. You will drive operational performance, safety, and financial results while partnering with project management, sales and engineering to meet delivery targets and customer satisfaction.

The role requires substantial leadership experience, technical acumen in mining/process equipment and a track record of improving processes, costs, and margins.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 10+ years hands-on repair/field diagnostics/technical services experience.
• Strong leadership experience developing people and managing multicultural teams.
• Proven ability to drive cost, process, and inventory efficiencies.
• Excellent communication and decision-making under pressure.
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership for machine shop, repair, alignment/grinding, and specialized services.
• Collaborate with Engineering, manufacturing and project management to prioritize resources.
• Ensure safe and efficient field service with strong customer relationships.
• Manage South Sioux City facility resources and drive cost efficiencies and performance.
• Develop and implement training, process improvements, and best practices.
