Job summary

Defined Fitness Inc. is seeking an Operations Team Manager to lead a club-wide operations team, ensure exceptional cleanliness, and drive a culture of excellence across all facilities in Rio Rancho, NM.

You will supervise staff, coordinate maintenance, and optimize vendor relationships to deliver a top-tier member experience. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business admin or related field, CPR/AED certification within 45 days, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• Valid CPR/AED certification (including infant/child) within 45 days of employment.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must hold a valid NM driver’s license (acceptable record) and means of transportation.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office and GymSales.
• Must be able to work weekends and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and detail in all areas of the facility.
• Oversee the equipment maintenance, including service callouts, equipment checks and on-going evaluation of equipment needs.
• Responsible for stocking and ordering equipment, parts, cleaning materials, etc.
• Maintain and service pool, spa, steam room, sauna, etc.
• Manage HVAC upkeep, detail and maintenance.
• Manage relationships with vendors and establish system for preferred vendors.
• Recruit, train and motivate your teams to ensure the highest operational standards.
• Schedule and complete weekly training sessions with your team.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Operations Team Manager is responsible for maintaining a detailed club appearance. You will DRIVE a team of meticulous and dedicated team members who clean and maintain the club with purpose and attention to DETAIL. You’ll take pride in polishing and perfecting the appearance to ensure members feel DELIGHT during their workout experience. You will DEVELOP a culture of cleanliness and focus on retaining members by inspiring your team to find DELIGHT in the DETAILS and display the following characteristics:

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Must hold a valid NM driver’s license (acceptable record) and means of transportation (registered and insured)
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office and various other products such as ABC and GymSales
• Must be able to work weekends and evenings as needed

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit for extended periods
• Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50pounds
• Must be able to perform the following tasks: jump, run, walk, squat, bend, stoop, stand, listen, read and write
