Job summary

Defined Fitness Inc in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Fitness Manager to lead the personal training team and drive revenue through PT packages, team training, and renewals. You will oversee sales, training, renewals, reporting, and client satisfaction across the club.

The role requires a nationally recognized PT certification, relevant health/fitness degree (preferred), and leadership experience. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is needed, with benefits like gym access and insurance

Qualifications

• Valid nationally recognized Personal Training Certification is required and maintained throughout employment.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, fitness or related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year sales experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office and GymSales/ABC software.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• CPR/AED certification (including infant and child) within first 45 days and maintained.
• Knowledge of how to use exercise equipment and assess member needs.
• Sales-oriented mindset with flexibility to cover high-traffic times and close-out dates.
• Evenings, weekends and/or holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Drive personal training revenue through sales of training packages, team training, and renewals.
• Provide excellent customer service and member experiences to ensure retention.
• Manage account issues and contract management.
• Collaborate with management in hiring, training and leading the personal training team.
• Provide ongoing reporting to management on team performance.
• Provide support to clients and cover personal training sessions as needed.
• Offer feedback to trainers to improve professionalism, service, and skills.

Fitness Manager

Personal Training Management Albuquerque, NM, US

Salary Range: $45,000.00 To $55,000.00 Annually

About the Role:

The Fitness Manager at Defined Fitness takes the lead in everything they do. You are relentless in pursuit of your goals, set the pace for success and are fueled by enthusiasm; you jump higher, reach further and push harder than anyone. The Fitness Manager is responsible for providing leadership and support to a team of personal trainers and their clients while involving as many Defined Fitness members as possible in the personal training programs through the sale and education about the program. You are responsible for the quality of member satisfaction regarding personal training. Fitness Managers will oversee personal training sales, sales reporting, sales training, renewal tracking, and educating personal trainers and other team members about personal training and participate in the leadership and management of the club.

Minimum Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to eight (8) hours at a time
• Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds
• Must be able to perform the following tasks: walk, squat, bend, stoop, stand, listen, read, and write
