Job summary

Defined Fitness Inc. in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Greet Team Manager to lead the greet team, drive membership growth, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will recruit, train, and coach staff while setting the pace for performance.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), management experience in fitness, strong communication, and a valid NM driver’s license. Expect weekends/evenings and involvement in in-club events and sales initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• Experience in a management-level position in health, fitness, or related industry.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must hold a valid NM driver’s license and means of transportation.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office and GymSales.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate completion of weekly deposits.
• Achieve club monthly sales goals and non-member closing percentage.
• Boost retail sales revenue goals including drinks, bars, etc.
• Oversee membership sales initiatives including open houses and promotions.
• Achieve net membership growth through leading effective in-club collection efforts.
• Recruit, hire, train, oversee and motivate staff into a highly functioning team.
• Schedule and complete weekly training sessions with your team.

About the Role:

As a Greet Team Manager at Defined Fitness, you take the lead in everything you do. The Greet Team Manager is responsible for the success of net membership growth at their club. You lead and DEVELOP greet team members down a path of excellence and success while DELIGHTING new members, tackling goals with DRIVE, intensity and passion through sales.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, preferred
• Experience in a management-level position in health, fitness, or related industry
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Must hold a valid NM driver’s license (acceptable record) and means of transportation (registered and insured)
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office and various other products such as ABC and GymSales
• Valid CPR/AED certification (including infant and child) within the first 45 days of employment and maintain throughout employment
• Must be able to work weekends and/or evenings as needed

Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate completion of weekly deposits
• Achieve club monthly sales goals and non-member closing percentage
• Boost retail sales revenue goals including drinks, bars, etc.
• Oversee membership sales initiatives including open houses, special membership events, promotions, closeouts, etc.
• Achieve net membership growth through leading effective in-club collection efforts
• Resolve and report all incidents of inappropriate behavior being displayed
• Capture and retain details on all new membership leads
• Maintain a clean and professional presentation
• Recruit, hire, train, oversee and motivate staff into a highly functioning team
• Schedule and complete weekly training sessions with your team
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to eight (8) hours at a time
• Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds
• Must be able to perform the following tasks: walk, squat, bend, stoop, stand, listen, read, and write
