Job summary

CircusTrix dba (Defy) in Cincinnati is seeking a part-time Team Lead to manage on-site operations across multiple areas, lead by example, and step in as MOD when needed.

You will drive guest engagement, mentor team members, and ensure safety and smooth park operations while supporting sales and events. This role offers weekend/evening availability and growth potential within a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in operations or guest-facing roles.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in retail sales, food & beverage, amusement/entertainment, or recreation is preferred.
• Basic proficiency with technology, including POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable learning new platforms.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when GM/OM are not present; ensure operational excellence and safety.
• Provide leadership by coaching, supporting, and delegating to Team Members across departments.
• Step into Programs, Café, Front Desk, Events to maintain guest experiences and flow.
• Communicate guest issues or safety concerns to management.
• Drive membership and program sales; promote park offerings and service excellence.
• Lead front desk performance and conversions; coach for WOW service standards.
• Oversee birthday parties, group events, and corporate outings; schedule and upsell.
• Manage cafe inventory and health/safety standards; ensure equipment and facilities are well-maintained.
