All Service Moving is hiring an Operations Manager to oversee the full moving process across residential and commercial moves. You will train crews, manage drivers, and lead dispatch operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and top-tier customer service.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, process improvement, and ongoing staff development to drive growth and client satisfaction. A strong leadership background in moving services or logistics is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; related associate degree considered.
• Experience in operations management or supervisory roles in logistics/moving services.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance (FMCSA, state, federal).
• Proven ability to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the moving process from planning to delivery, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Train and develop crews on moving techniques, safety, equipment handling, and customer service.
• Oversee driver training, testing, and ongoing compliance with safety standards.
• Lead and motivate movers, drivers, leads, warehouse workers, and foremen; set expectations and monitor performance.
• Create and maintain efficient schedules; coordinate dispatch to balance workloads and timely completion.
• Coordinate interviewing and onboarding of movers and operations staff.
• Review and approve bills of lading, tickets, and related paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
• Visit client sites for estimates, evaluations, and quality assurance; ensure proper procedures are followed.
• Inspect storage facilities and oversee storage operations for safety and organization.
• Assist in annual performance management processes and professional development planning.
