Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Team Captain of Off Field Operations to lead inventory, fulfillment, and stockroom execution. You will coach teammates, drive store performance, and ensure processes run efficiently so athletes are ready.

You will develop plans, manage schedules, hire and onboard staff, enforce safety and SOPs, and create a welcoming environment where teammates and athletes feel respected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Previous retail/customer-facing experience required.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by advising on products and maintaining merchandising standards.
• Help develop 30-60-90 day plans with leadership to support priorities and budgeting.
• Oversee scheduling and payroll goals while ensuring efficient operations.
• Build and lead a team, conduct coaching, reviews, and retention.
• Enforce safety, loss prevention, and SOPs; ensure policy compliance.
