Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Team Captain of Off Field Operations to lead inventory, fulfillment, and stockroom execution in-store. You will coach teammates, drive store performance, and ensure processes run efficiently while maintaining athlete-ready operations.

You will lead staffing, onboarding, training, and accountability to deliver outstanding customer experiences and achieve department goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience in retail or customer-facing roles.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by understanding needs and providing product information.
• Assist in developing 30-60-90 day plans to support department priorities and budget goals.
• Communicate goals and plans to direct reports and manage workload for efficiency.
• Build and lead a team through sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing coaching.
• Enforce safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures and accountability.
