Job summary

Carvana is hiring an Operations Recruiter to deliver full-cycle, high-volume recruiting for multiple operations teams from our Tempe, AZ HQ. You will source, screen, and assess candidates, partnering with hiring managers to develop effective strategies. This on-site role emphasizes speed, accuracy, and a strong candidate experience across nationwide sites.

You’ll manage expectations through background checks, build relationships with leaders, and contribute to a culture of high performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full cycle and high-volume recruiting experience.
• Experience using recruiting applications and creative methods to source qualified candidates (Greenhouse and Tenstreet ATS).
• Experience working with hiring managers and adapting sourcing strategies to match team needs.
• Ability to operate with urgency without sacrificing accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Comfortable with change and able to adapt.
• Bachelor's/Associates Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Independently source candidates through social media, Indeed, Carvana website.
• Conduct in-depth screenings and interviews via phone.
• Provide resumes and screening notes for hiring manager interviews.
• Conduct talent/skills, role-fit, and culture-fit assessments and advise the business.
• Manage candidate expectations regarding background checks and ensure successful hires.
• Develop hiring leader relationships and understand Operations teams to advise on hiring strategies.
• Focus on a high conversion rate from interview to offer.
• Help build a stronger company every day.
• Other duties as assigned.
