Job summary

North Coast, part of the Sonepar group, is recruiting for a detail‑driven operations clerk to support daily financial and order activities in the United States. The role requires accuracy in billing, cash handling, and timely processing of returns and freight claims.

You will work in an on‑site office environment with a focus on reliability and teamwork. Ideal candidates bring strong Microsoft Office skills, good communication, and a proactive mindset to comply with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Meet monthly goals for N.C. Operations Scorecard.
• Process customer billings and credits with accuracy and compliance.
• Manage daily cash box and deposits of checks.
• Review monthly aging Will Call orders and their disposition.
• Review and process return goods.
• File and track carrier/vendor freight claims.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do:

• Actively work to meet monthly goals for N.C. Operations Scorecard
• Processing of Customer Billings and Credits ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Manage Daily Cash Box and deposits of checks received
• Review monthly aging Will Call orders and their disposition.
• Review and process Return Goods
• File and Track carrier/vendor freight claims
• Other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring:

• Accurate, dependable, and detail-oriented

• Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT)
• Experience with O365 products-Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
• General understanding of Eclipse and SWMS
• Self-motivated and a problem solver

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Heavy phone and computer use
• Office environment, mainly seated at a desk
• Some lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Usual 40-hour work week Monday through Friday.
• Requires regular and reliable on-site attendance

Additional Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary & Compensation:

• This position is non-exempt and is eligible for overtime
• Pay is $20/hour - $24.18/hour, DOE.
