Job summary

North Coast, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a Service Center leader in Washington state to provide leadership, build a profitable team, manage a P&L, and drive DOTP to embed service excellence in daily operations.

Travel to customer sites is required in a office/warehouse environment; offers full-time benefits including PTO, parental leave, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, employee referral bonus, and more.

Qualifications

• 2 years management or supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Clean driving record with no major infractions within the previous 3-5 years.
• Commitment to Doing it Right the First Time (DIRTFT).
• Sales experience in both contractor and industrial markets.
• Knowledge of North Coast operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide Leadership, organization, and direction to build a team capable of being profitable and meeting customer requirements.
• Manage a P&L statement.
• Drive Deliver On The Promise (DOTP) to become part of your everyday culture.
• Drive market-leading customer service with a best-in-class team of industry professionals.
• Expand market share.
• Develop and implement a Service Center business plan including sales, gross margin, expenses, and daily operations.
• Monitor sell and cost overrides daily; coordinate contracts and pricing with Outside Sales.
• Ensure cycle count procedures are implemented and followed.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Office and warehouse environment
• Travel to customer locations and jobsites
• Occasional heavy lifting up-to 50lbs.

Salary & Compensation:

• This position is an exempt position and not subject to overtime.
• Pay is $81,600 to $104,100 annually, DOE.
