Job summary

Univar Solutions USA Inc is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join our OSS team onsite. You will lead new customer contract implementations, ensure safety compliance, and manage waste handling, scheduling and disposal for clients.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 1–2 years of industry experience, with travel up to 90% and US work authorization. Proficiency in Office tools and knowledge of hazardous waste regulations are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Engineering/Business or relevant technical field.
1-2 years of related industry experience preferred.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Travel requirement may peak at 90%.
Pass company physical and drug screen tests.

Responsibilities

Site lead for new customer contract implementations and back-fill for OSS Site Manager turnover.
Safety liaison and compliance with corporate safety requirements.
Prepare Bill of Lading, Waste Manifests, scheduling transport and disposal of waste/recycling materials.
Identify and coordinate opportunities for process improvement to drive efficiency and profitability.
HR liaison ensuring compliance with policies.
Collaborate with leaders to design processes that optimize staffing and service delivery.
Assist in equipment business case proposals for customer needs.
Perform other duties as required by OSS management.
