Job summary

Univar Solutions in the United States is seeking an Operations Support Specialist for onsite services. You will serve as site lead for new customer contract implementations and provide back-fill for OSS Site Manager turnover, vacations, or sick leave while supporting safety compliance across the site.

You will prepare transport documents, coordinate disposal, and help drive process improvements. Effective collaboration with HR and front-line teams is essential to optimize staff usage and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Business.
• 1-2 years of related industry experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of RCRA and DOT regulations.
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate with safety and HR teams.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Site lead for new customer contract implementations and back-fill for OSS Site Manager turnover.
• Perform site safety support and act as corporate safety liaison to ensure compliance.
• Prepare Bill of Lading, Waste Manifests, and schedule transport and disposal of hazardous waste.
• Identify and coordinate process-improvement opportunities to boost efficiency and profitability.
• Serve as HR liaison ensuring compliance with policies and participate in staff coordination.
