Job summary

Univar Solutions is hiring an Operations Support Specialist to lead new customer implementations onsite and back-fill for turnover. The role supports safety compliance, regulatory adherence, and efficient waste management operations.

You will collaborate with leaders to design processes, manage transportation and disposal scheduling, and assist in customer equipment solutions. Travel up to high levels may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Engineering/Business or related field.
• Pass company physical and drug screen tests.
• Be flexible. Travel may peak at 90%.

Responsibilities

• Site lead for new customer contract implementations and back-fill OSS Site Manager turnover, vacations, or sick leave.
• Serve as site Safety liaison ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Prepare Bill of Lading, Waste Manifests, and schedule transport and disposal of waste and recycling materials.
• Identify and coordinate process improvements to drive efficiency and profitability.
• Act as site HR lead and liaison ensuring policy compliance.
• Collaborate with leaders to design processes that optimize staffing and service delivery.
• Assist in equipment needs assessment and proposal development for clients.
• Perform other related duties as required by OSS management.
