Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking an Operations Support Specialist onsite to lead new customer contract implementations and back-fill site management roles. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient waste transport scheduling.

You will coordinate with HR and leaders to improve processes, support equipment needs for clients, and travel up to 90% to meet client requirements. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Environmental Science/Engineering/Business or relevant technical field.
• Experience with hazardous waste regulations and compliance (RCRA, DOT, EPA).
• Travel up to 90% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead site for new customer contract implementations and back-fill OSS Site Manager turnover.
• Support site safety by acting as corporate safety liaison and ensuring compliance.
• Prepare Bill of Lading, Waste Manifests, and schedule transport/disposal of waste and recycling materials.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to drive efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with leaders to design processes that maximize staff utilization and service quality.
• Assist in equipment business cases for waste management needs of customers.
