We are currently seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join our Customer Care team. This position plays a key role in supporting daily bank operations through transaction processing, account maintenance, reconciliations, and operational support activities. In addition to operations responsibilities, this role assists customers through phone and digital banking channels, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build knowledge across multiple areas of banking operations while delivering exceptional customer service. Scheduled hours will typically fall between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., with shifts varying based on department needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Process account maintenance requests accurately and timely.
• Perform daily reconciliations of deposit accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Answer incoming customer calls, assisting customers when able and directing inquiries to the appropriate team member when needed.
• Monitor and respond to customer requests received through online and digital banking channels.
• Assist customers with inquiries related to deposit and loan accounts, transactions, and general banking services.
• Provide debit card support to staff and customers, including card maintenance, disputes, travel notices, and hot-card requests.
• Provide customer support for Online Banking and Mobile Banking applications, including enrollments, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with departments across the bank to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences.
• Serve as a resource for staff by assisting with deposit operations and wire-related questions.
• Support the Customer Care team's commitment to delivering outstanding service while balancing operational responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as applicable state and federal banking regulations, including BSA/OFAC, Regulation E, Regulation GG, and ACH Rules.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in banking operations, accounting support, bookkeeping, payroll processing, customer service, or a similar detail-oriented role is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other technology platforms.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and security of customer information.
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge across multiple areas of bank operations.
