Job summary

NOV is seeking an Operations Support Manager to lead a US-wide team ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, optimize workflows, and coordinate across regions. The role includes ERP administration, billing communications with customers, asset management, and reporting to the Fortress Operations Director.

You will oversee regional material placement, monitor inventory and tool usage, manage vendor relations and budgets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in frac operations and supporting US oilfield service operations.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Experience tracking metrics and using data to improve processes.
• Available to work weekends and holidays to support regional operations.
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, or cross-functional projects.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 OS, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the placement of materials and tools in each region to support the next day’s operation.
• Control inventory costs and inventory management processes across the organization.
• Monitor tool usage and operational metrics; identify trends and suggest improvements for cost cutting and efficiency.
• Help manage vendor relationships, tools, supplies, and budgets as needed.
• Manage the coordination of the billing workflow with each region back through NOV finance and accounting.
• Work to administer ERP workflows, ensuring smooth operation and escalation of issues.
• Oversee daily support activities and ensure requests, issues, and escalations are handled promptly.
• Identify, evaluate and implement optimization efficiency projects, promoting continuous improvement.
• Assist with any other duty identified by the Fortress Operations Director.
