Job summary

Maersk Ground Freight is seeking an Operations Associate/Support in Moreno Valley to manage freight forwarding shipments across modes, provide top-tier customer service, and maintain station KPIs. The role requires weekend availability, with shifts 5am-1:30pm or 12:00pm-8:30pm, and OT as needed.

Responsibilities include tracking shipments, negotiating with carriers, data entry in the TMS, and coordinating load tenders.

Qualifications

• Must multitask while maintaining precise attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Type 35+ words per minute.
• Able to work in demanding, high-volume environment, especially with email and calls.

Responsibilities

• Track and trace outbound shipments.
• Inspect outbound freight and assign carriers.
• Negotiate freight rates and load tenders.
• Provide exceptional customer service and updates to stakeholders.
• Execute data entry in the transportation management system.
• Assist with budgeting for international shipments and invoicing.
