Job summary

Maersk Ground Freight in Moreno Valley is seeking an Operations Associate/Support. You will control freight shipments, manage load tenders, and ensure high-quality customer service across multiple transportation modes. Weekend work is required with Sundays and Mondays off, and shifts are 5am-1:30pm or 12:00pm-8:30pm.

The role emphasizes accuracy, proactive communication, and use of our transportation management system to keep shipments moving and customers happy.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics/shipping operations.
• Proficient with MS Office and data entry.
• Ability to work weekends/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Track and trace outbound shipments.
• Inspect outbound freight.
• Contract new carriers and issue load tenders.
• Communicate freight status to stations and customers.
• Provide customer service.
• Handle overtime/weekend on-call rotations.
• Data entry in transportation management system.
• Quoting, costing and invoicing of shipments.
• Develop carrier relationships.
• Find new logistics opportunities and design carrier solutions.
