Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking an Operations Support professional in a fast-paced environment. You will manage end-to-end shipment recaps, pricing and invoicing, and must communicate clearly with customers and dispatch teams. The role requires accuracy, multi-tasking, and strong MS Office skills.

Traditional duties include paperwork preparation, system updates, and adherence to regulatory standards, with opportunities for process improvement in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service or operations experience preferred.
• Ability to handle high-volume environment with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Recap shipments and finalize transportation costs per tariff or quotes.
• Answer customer service calls and maintain communication with customers.
• Quote, cost, and invoice domestic shipments, air and ground.
• Prepare routing paperwork and timely documentation dispatch.
• Update freight status in the system and communicate with dispatch.
• Ensure TSA/KSMS and regulatory compliance in booking and routing.
• Data entry of shipments into the transportation management system.
• Upload documents to the document management system.

The primary focus is providing a high-level operations excellence and a quality customer service experience to all customers.Essential Functions:Recapping shipments - ‘Recapping’ is the process that collects all transportation expenses related to a shipment, rates the shipment per the customer tariff or ad-hoc quote, and completes the accounting transactionAnswering Customer Service CallsExcellent Customer serviceQuoting, costing and invoicing of domestic shipments, air and groundPreparing paperwork for routing, closing out files, and sending documentation out on a timely basisCommunicating freight status and any problems to other stations and customers, and updating the systemCommunicating to dispatch for customers' requested pick-upsAdhere to TSA /KSMS and other government regulatory compliance standards with regards to booking and routing of all shipmentsData entry of shipments into transportation management systemUploading of Documents to Document Management SystemOther duties as assigned SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:Multi-tasking while maintaining precise attention to detailNegotiating abilities and able to close independently from management oversightMust have a financial acumen and experience with invoicing and payablesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to work in demanding, high-volume environment, particularly with email and callsPrecise attention to detailProficient in Microsoft OfficeMust be tech savvyEXPERIENCE:Previous customer service or operations experience preferred - 1 years experienceCompany Benefits:MedicalDentalVision401k + Company MatchEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Time OffFlexible Work Schedules (when possible)And more!Pay Range:$22-$23.50*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position.
