The role involves supervising drivers, partnering with management to implement strategic initiatives, and onboarding new drivers to reinforce Casella’s core values. Strong communication and MS Office proficiency are required; a CDL and OSHA card are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• CDL license is required; OSHA 10 or 30 card preferred.
• Legal eligibility to work in the US is required.
• 2–4 years of supervisory experience preferred; strong communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to the operations team and develops team members for advancement.
• Oversees drivers and helpers to meet safety and operational goals.
• Collaborates with Operations/Division Managers to drive functional excellence and goal achievement.
• Performs onboarding for new drivers to instill Casella’s core values.
• Monitors driver performance and coaching; coordinates training when needed.
• Investigates accidents, disputes, and complaints with proper documentation.
• Creates logistics plans to reduce route hours and improve density and efficiency.
• Participates in training to expand knowledge of company products, services, and values.
