Job summary

Lowe's is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead distribution center teams and uphold a strong safety culture in North Carolina. You will oversee receiving, order-fill, shipping, and related tasks, ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to safety policies.

You will communicate daily plans, mentor associates, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain performance, balancing productivity with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in distribution center/warehouse ops or a related field or a Bachelor's degree in a related area.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform basic math & reading tasks.
• Familiarity with safety requirements and compliance in a distribution setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead operations associates in receiving, order-fill, shipping, and supporting tasks.
• Monitor production volume and allocate tasks for optimal workflow and performance.
• Enforce safety protocols, conduct training, and promptly address safety concerns.
• Respond quickly to changing workflow conditions with real-time decisions.
• Resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions in supply chain operations.
• Communicate business objectives, daily workload plans, and performance expectations.
• Provide support and guidance to associates through associate relations issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for enhanced supply chain performance.
