Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee collections activities across multiple lines of business in Hauling. You will supervise drivers and helpers and collaborate with the Operations Manager and General Manager to drive safety, efficiency and regulatory compliance.

You will lead safety programs, optimize routes, resolve service issues, and maintain positive customer relations while developing talent and achieving budget goals.

Qualifications

• Direct and supervise staff.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking and decision-making skills.

• Demonstrates and promotes safety and ethical behavior
• 1-3+ year of lead or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership and communicate safety goals.
• Remove unsafe conditions from drivers' routes.
• Coordinate with maintenance to keep equipment safe and compliant.
• Lead safety programs to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment.
• Engage employees to foster a safety culture and active participation.
• Meet or exceed missed pickup goals and service reliability targets.
• Resolve unusual service requests, equipment breakdowns, and schedule changes.
• Interact with customers to solve issues and improve satisfaction.
• Represent the company to drive customer loyalty and positive impressions.
• Set productivity goals and manage routes, labor hours, and disposal costs.
• Lead drivers to exceed productivity goals and optimize routes for density and efficiency.
• Reduce route hours through service conversions and upsizing where feasible.
• Execute operational plans to meet division budgets.
• Support fleet maintenance and quality initiatives.
• Develop talent and coach employees for advancement at the company.
• Maintain positive work environment with customers, vendors, and management.
