Job summary

FedEx is seeking an Operations Supervisor in the United States to lead a frontline team, ensuring safe and efficient package sortation and compliance with policies. You will manage a staff, coach and develop employees, and oversee day-to-day operations while maintaining focus on safety initiatives and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of package handling or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to hire, coach, train and evaluate staff while maintaining safety standards.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift meetings to align on goals and safety initiatives.
• Hire, coach, recognize, evaluate and discipline staff as needed.
• Plan and control day-to-day operations and staff assignments.
• Ensure safe, efficient sortation of packages and compliance with FXG policies.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements.
