Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a team at our Rincon, GA warehouse. You will supervise hourly staff, ensure daily tasks like loading, unloading, and cross-docking meet customer requirements and cost objectives, and participate in hiring and customer meetings as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, process improvements, and effective communication with associates and customers, while supporting business goals and location performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Must demonstrate ownership and responsibility to run the operation with urgency.
• Ability to connect with associates and customers at all levels.
• Ability to manage time and stay organized.
• Ability to drive process improvement and lead change.
• Experience with inventory management system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership to individual contributors and hourly workforce to ensure daily tasks are executed efficiently.
• Supervise processes including scheduling and coordination of staff and equipment.
• Participate in hiring and conduct customer meetings as needed.
• Conduct team meetings and communicate performance standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures and manage records.
