Job summary

Penske Logistics seeks a proven Operations Supervisor to lead a warehousing team at our Rincon, GA location. You will direct hourly staff, ensure customer requirements are met, and drive productivity, safety and cost objectives. The role covers loading/unloading, cross-docking, and client-facing tasks with Thursday–Saturday, 12:30pm–12am shifts.

Bonus eligibility is location and performance based. Responsibilities include supervising scheduling, evaluating methods, and handling disciplinary

Qualifications

• 2 - 4 years related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong written/oral communication skills required.
• Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ownership & responsibility to run the operation with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to connect and build rapport with associates and external customers at all levels.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to drive process improvement and lead change.
• Experience with inventory management system preferred.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
• Willingness to travel, work schedule as required and pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership to hourly workforce to ensure daily tasks are executed.
• Supervise processes including scheduling and safety compliance.
• Lead hiring and performance discussions as needed.
• Coordinate loading/unloading, cross-docking and customer service activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and efficiency while meeting cost objectives.
