DP World in Carlisle, PA seeks a hands-on supervisor to lead a manufacturing/logistics team. You will train, motivate, and evaluate staff, ensuring safe operation of material handling equipment and timely material movement.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience in automotive/manufacturing or supply chain environments, strong communication skills, and familiarity with safety and lean practices to control costs and improve productivity.

Competenze

HS Diploma/GED required.
Experience supervising in an Automotive, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain/Logistics facility.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience and or training regarding Occupational Health & Safety, 5S, Lean Methodologies preferred.
Quality systems knowledge to monitor staff performance and costs (time-keeping, quality, productivity).

Mansioni

Plan and coordinate work; train, motivate, monitor and evaluate performance of team members.
Ensure team can safely operate material handling equipment to move materials.
Monitor and measure team member performance for accuracy and document on daily production metrics.
Identify and eliminate safety and housekeeping hazards to minimize accidents.
Ensure compliance with processes, work instructions, standard work and work elements.
Liaise with materials department to ensure on-time receipt and shipment of material.
Other duties as assigned.
