Job summary

Atlantic Plywood Corporation in New Jersey seeks an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our distribution center. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on warehouse management, driving daily activities, team development, and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with senior logistics managers, leveraging advanced WMS and ERP systems, to build future leaders while maintaining safety and cost controls. This ESOP-backed position offers a clear path to logistics leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of logistics or distribution management experience.
Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Proven track record of leading teams in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Experience driving process improvements and achieving operational goals.

Responsibilities

Oversee all distribution center operations, including receiving, picking, loading, shipping, will-call, and customer service.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop warehouse staff while conducting performance evaluations.
Manage annual budget development and operational expenses, analyze data for decision-making.
Partner with customers, sales teams, vendors, and internal departments to ensure satisfaction and on-time delivery.
