Job summary

Princess Cruises and Holland America Line in Juneau, AK is seeking an Operations Supervisor, Lead to manage shore excursion and guest services teams for the Alaska season. You will ensure operational excellence, train staff, and maintain safety and service standards.

The role requires strong leadership, proficiency with office software, and a valid driver's license. CDL is not required, but training may be provided; background checks and US work eligibility are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in the use of computer business applications.
• A valid driver's license with clean record is required.
• CDL not required but may be obtained; CDL program available.
• Must be at least 21 years old for CDL eligibility.
• If in CDL program, DOT physical and drug screen are required and you will be in random drug testing pool.
• CDL certification may be obtained through the company training course.
• Pre-employment background check is required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; employer cannot sponsor visas at this time.

Compensation: $24.00 - $28.00 / hour

Our Lead Operations position is ideal for a service-driven leader who thrives in a dynamic hospitality and tourism environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence, team development, safety compliance, and outstanding customer service by providing guidance, training, and support to frontline staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a shore excursion services team and the guest services activities.
• Responsible for assisting in the administration of shore excursion servicesactivities and operations.
• Assists with administering the local driver safety training program in the Spring with safety and service audit support during the operating season.
• Routinely applies knowledge of operations, Company products, and customer services to assist staff with routine questions.
• Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies, objectives, and applicable government laws and regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in the use of computer business applications.
• A current valid driver's license, with a clean driving record, is required.
• A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is not required, but available pending candidate qualifications.
• A minimum age of 21 is required for CDL.
• If in the CDL program, must be certified as physically qualified through a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen. You will become a part of our random drug test pool.
• CDL certification may be obtained through the company training course.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).
