GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a capable supervisor to lead product line personnel, oversee driver scheduling, training, and safety programs. The role emphasizes ensuring safe, professional service and fostering positive employee relations at the Hope Mills branch.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior experience in the waste or transportation industry and/or experience driving trucks preferred.
• At least one year supervisory experience or one year as a Lead Driver required.

Mansioni

• Recruit, interview, hire, train and discipline all product line personnel.
• Address complaints and resolve problems as they arise.
• Ensure proper completion of driver paperwork and vehicle inspections daily.
• Schedule drivers and toter/helpers effectively.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and route completion; resolve complaints.
• Direct collection and disposal services to optimize personnel and equipment use.
• Establish and review productivity standards at each operation phase.
• Ensure compliance with CDL driver regulations.
• Record daily productivity in the operating system.
• Maintain inventory of supplies with GM approval.
• Promote a safety program to prevent accidents and recognize safe employees.
• Investigate accidents and complete required paperwork.
• Schedule, plan and conduct monthly safety meetings.
• Ensure proper usage of safety equipment.
