Job summary

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, seeks a Supervisor, Operations I to oversee daily Service Center operations, ensuring work complies with procedures and standards. You will lead the loading/unloading teams, coordinate with partners, and maintain a safe, efficient environment.

You will mentor staff, enforce safety, and help drive productivity while upholding labor agreements and quality service across shifts.

• Plan, supervise, and control resources for loading/unloading freight on shifts.

• Provide training, feedback, and disciplinary recommendations as needed.
• Offer constructive feedback to employees and foster a safe work culture.
• Build relationships with business partners to uphold service standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment for personnel and customers.
• Foster safe handling of hazardous materials and maintain high safety standards.
• Maintain a positive attitude in a high-intensity environment.
