Qualifications

• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NMFC, Tariff Rules, and DOT regulations is preferred.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, educate and develop employees focusing on retention and growth.
• Supervise and direct employee work with emphasis on quality, safety, and customer deliverables.
• Monitor safety and address unsafe acts with corrective actions.
• Plan daily manpower and set schedules for timely, damage-free deliveries.
• Communicate assignments clearly and coordinate with all staff.
• Monitor freight and ensure cut time compliance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiencies while maintaining safety.
• Assist customers with rate quotes, claim information, and appointments.
• Monitor performance data for reporting.
• Build relationships with business partners to meet service standards.
• Identify misclassified freight and ensure OS&D processing.
• Perform administrative tasks and comply with laws and policies.
