Job summary

Hallcon is seeking an on-site Dispatcher in Fremont to manage morning and afternoon commuter programs across client campuses. You will coordinate drivers, monitor daily activity, and work with local dispatchers to ensure on-time service and safety.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in customer service or transportation, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations is a plus; flexible hours and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in customer service and transportation preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer literacy.
• Ability to work varied days and hours with flexibility.
• Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations as prescribed by USDOT.
• Experience with fleet management and dispatch systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily driver activities to ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain communications with Local Dispatchers and respond to client needs.
• Support Dispatch Team and cover shifts as needed.
• Initiate corrective actions with employees to manage incidents and reduce SLA penalties.
• Prepare written reports as required by management.
• Respond professionally to rider and client information requests.
• Coordinate communication between employees and clients.
• Process and complete employee payroll.
• Ensure safety standards are met and rules are followed.
