Job summary

SIXT Rent a Car in the Indianapolis area is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead a customer-focused team and ensure smooth daily operations.

You will coach and develop team members, drive sales and profitability, manage schedules, and maintain high service levels while aligning with company values and policies. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales experience required.
• 3–5 years of car rental experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship.
• Must be willing to wear company-provided uniforms.
• Ability to communicate in additional languages is a plus.
• Must be available to work day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to ensure daily responsibilities are completed according to company standards.
• Train, coach, and develop new and existing team members to help them succeed.
• Motivate employees through goal setting, coaching, feedback, and follow-up.
• Build a strong team environment focused on accountability, communication, and performance.
• Meet and exceed departmental objectives, including conversion and lead-generation goals.
• Create a culture of ownership and accountability while addressing employee concerns as needed.
• Communicate company values, goals, and expectations clearly to team members.
• Create and maintain employee schedules based on operational needs.
• Ensure employees follow assigned schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve performance, and drive profitability.
• Support cross-functional communication to improve overall operations and working conditions.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with customer needs as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
