Job summary

SIXT Rent a Car in the Indianapolis area is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a customer-focused team and drive daily operations. You will coach, train, and develop staff while aiming to boost sales and profitability. Strong leadership and scheduling experience are essential for success in this role.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in sales and car rental, be at least 21, and able to work diverse shifts, including weekends. A monthly car allowance and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales experience required.
• 3–5 years of car rental experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience creating and managing employee schedules.
• Ability to communicate and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willing to wear company-provided uniforms.
• Additional language skills are a plus.
• Available to work day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to complete daily responsibilities per standards.
• Train, coach, and develop new and existing team members.
• Motivate employees through goal setting, coaching, feedback, and follow-up.
• Build a team environment focused on accountability and performance.
• Meet and exceed departmental objectives including conversion and lead-generation.
• Create ownership culture and address employee concerns.
• Communicate company values, goals, and expectations clearly.
• Create and maintain employee schedules based on operational needs.
• Ensure staffing levels and adherence to schedules.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve performance, and drive profitability.
• Support cross-functional communication to improve operations and conditions.
• Maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with customer needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
