Job summary

SIXT Rent a Car, part of the Tom Wood Group, is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a customer-focused team in the Indianapolis area. You will coach, train, and develop staff while driving daily operations and sales growth.

Responsibilities include scheduling, performance management, and ensuring compliance with policies. The role requires a strong service mindset and the ability to work day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales experience.
• 3–5 years of car rental experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to ensure daily responsibilities and tasks are completed to company standards.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to help them succeed.
• Motivate employees through goal setting, coaching, feedback, and follow-up.
• Build a strong team environment focused on accountability, communication, and performance.
• Meet and exceed departmental objectives, including conversion and lead-generation goals.
• Create a culture of ownership and accountability while addressing employee concerns as needed.
• Communicate company values, goals, and expectations clearly to team members.
• Create and maintain employee schedules based on operational needs.
• Ensure employees follow assigned schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve performance, and drive profitability.
• Support cross-functional communication to improve operations and working conditions.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with customer needs as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
