Job summary

Ace Sanitary is hiring a hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead the second-shift team, including Fabricators and Laser Etchers. You will set daily priorities, manage workflow, coach employees, and ensure safe, accurate, high-quality work on schedule while staying visible on the production floor.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, excellent communication, problem-solving and the ability to train staff.

• Maintain a safe work environment and train staff on safety practices.
• Train, coach, and develop employees with feedback and growth opportunities.
• Interview, review performance, and collaborate with leadership on discipline when needed.
• Perform the work of supervised positions when production requires support.
• Support safety, company culture, and other duties assigned by management.

Operations Supervisor Second Shift

Reports to: Operations Director

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM

Pay: $27 to $31 per hour plus a $1 per hour shift differential

Position Summary

Ace Sanitary is hiring a hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead Fabricators, Laser Etchers, and other second-shift operations team members. The supervisor sets daily priorities, manages workflow, develops employees, solves production problems, and helps the team deliver safe, accurate, high-quality work on schedule. This role requires a leader who stays visible on the production floor and is willing to step into the work when the team needs support.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide positive, hands-on leadership to Fabricators, Laser Etchers, and other second-shift operations team members.
• Set priorities, assign work, balance workflow, and monitor productivity so the right orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Ensure quality and regulatory standards are followed throughout the department.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and ensure team members are trained on safe work practices.
• Train, coach, and develop employees through regular feedback, problem-solving, and growth opportunities.
• Interview and select team members, review performance, and work with the Operations Director and Human Resources on counseling or discipline when needed.
• Perform the work of the positions supervised when production needs additional support.
• Support safety, company culture, ethical conduct, and other duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years of experience in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach, motivate, and hold a team accountable.
• Good verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize work, solve problems, take initiative, and meet deadlines with close attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft applications, and ERP systems, or the ability to learn them.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience.
• Experience in fabrication, laser etching, inspection, or more than one production area.
• Experience working in a Lean, GMP, ISO, FDA, or other regulated manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Safely navigate a manufacturing environment.
• Stand and walk for extended periods, with some bending and stooping.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Use manufacturing tools and equipment as well as standard computer and office equipment.
