Position Summary
Ace Sanitary is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead daily operations across Fabrication, Laser Engraving, Warehouse, and Cleanroom Assembly. Through the supervisors leading these departments, this role is accountable for safety, quality, scheduling, labor performance, and throughput in a growing, highHelen mix operation.
A key priority will be building the leadership, staffing, training, and operating systems needed to grow from approximately 30 to 60 employees across two shifts while delivering on our promise of Coupling Expertise with Speed & Simplicity™.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Development
- Lead, coach, and hold Production Supervisors accountable for team performance and daily priorities.
- Build staffing, shift-leadership, training, and succession plans to support growth across two shifts.
- Partner with Human Resources and supervisors on hiring, onboarding, performance management, development, and retention.
- Promote cross-training, skill development, and advancement opportunities.
- Maintain a visible, hands‑on presence on the production floor.
Production and Continuous Improvement
- Lead daily workflow across Fabrication, Laser Engraving, Warehouse and Cleanroom Assembly.
- Turn customer demand into achievable schedules, labor plans, and shift priorities.
- Optimize labor, equipment, material flow, throughput, capacity, and overtime.
- Remove bottlenecks affecting productivity, lead time, and on-time delivery.
- Establish production meetings, visual management, standard work, and clear escalation processes.
- Use operating data to communicate performance, risks, trends, and recovery plans.
- Partner with Continuous Improvement to apply 6S, Kaizen, Lean manufacturing, and structured problem‑solving.
- Lead improvements that reduce waste and cost while improving quality, capacity, and customer service.
Safety, Quality, and Collaboration
- Champion safety and ensure compliance with training, safe‑work, and incident‑response requirements.
- Ensure production follows work instructions, quality standards, material‑traceability requirements, and cleanroom and sanitary manufacturing procedures.
- Partner with the Quality & Compliance Manager on audits, deviations, root‑cause investigations, and corrective actions.
- Promote right‑first‑time quality, early issue escalation, and defect prevention.
- Collaborate with Quality, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain, Sales, Engineering, and other departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in assembly, fabrication, or a regulated environment.
- Experience leading supervisors and multifunctional production teams.
- Proven success managing safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee performance.
- Experience with production scheduling, labor‑capacity planning, workflow management, and bottleneck resolution.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous‑improvement methods.
- Experience using ERP/MRP or similar production‑planning systems.
- Strong leadership, coaching, problem‑solving, decision‑making, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
- Experience in cleanroom, life sciences, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, medical, or regulated manufacturing.
- Experience scaling an operation, adding shifts, or implementing leader‑standard work and daily management systems.
- Knowledge of material traceability, corrective actions, and sanitary or high‑purity manufacturing.
Work Environment
- On‑site role with regular time in manufacturing, warehouse, cleanroom, and office environments.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and safely navigate production areas.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must follow all PPE, hygiene, cleanroom, and safety requirements.
- Ability to become forklift certified if needed.
- Regular attendance and flexibility to support multiple shifts are required.
- Occasional air or car travel; a valid driver’s license is required.
