Responsibilities:

• Supervise aircraft maintenance employees and oversee daily operations, including safety, scheduling, personnel, and quality assurance.
• Promote a safe work environment by supervising safety/security programs.
• Manage performance, development, hiring, dismissals, and lead daily meetings.
• Coordinate all planned and ad-hoc maintenance tasks.
• Ensure work complies with Repair Station and FAR regulations.
• Monitor safety of housing and facilities, reporting deficiencies.
• Engage with customers regarding aircraft maintenance, as needed.
• Identify best practices and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage database and reporting to ensure labor efficiency aligns with work orders.

How to thrive in this role?

• Typically have 3 years of experience in aircraft heavy/line maintenance and inspections.
• Leadership experience is preferred; Aircraft Maintenance leadership is a plus.
• Hold an A&P certificate or certification under FAR Part 65.
• Familiar with aircraft inspection systems and procedures.
• Knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Effective leadership and coaching abilities with a focus on developing people.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
