Streetplus Co LLC in Newark, NJ seeks a Field Supervisor to lead Outside Cleaner Ambassadors across city parks. You will train staff, enforce safety protocols, and bridge management with frontline operations while driving a company truck between locations.

This full-time role requires hands-on leadership, strong horticulture awareness, and the ability to supervise daily deployments, ensure quality landscaping, and report insights to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

Job Skills / Requirements

Drive results on the ground as a Field Supervisor for Streetplus Co LLC. In this active, hands‑on role, you will directly oversee the daily work of Outside Cleaner Ambassadors across Newark's parks. You will bridge the gap between management and frontline operations by training staff, ensuring landscaping and safety protocols are met, and actively driving a company truck to transport tools, supplies, and staff between park locations.

Responsibilities

• Team Supervision: Conduct morning roll calls, assign daily deployment zones, and monitor the performance of ambassadors throughout the shift.
• Mobile Logistics & Driving: Safely operate a company vehicle/truck to transport landscaping equipment, tools, trash bags, plants, and personnel efficiently between various Newark Park locations.
• On‑the‑Job Training: Provide hands‑on coaching regarding plant care, safe power‑tool usage, proper horticulture techniques, and community hospitality.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect Park landscaping beds, lawns, and walkways continuously to ensure weeding, pruning, and trash removal meet Streetplus standards.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce the strict use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure safe loading, unloading, and securing of tools in company vehicles.
• Incident Reporting: Document and elevate daily team attendance, vehicle mileage/issues, safety incidents, or community feedback to the Operations Manager.

Experience & Requirements

• Leadership Background: 1–2 years of experience as a crew leader, team lead, or supervisor in landscaping, groundskeeping, or facility services.
• Valid Driver’s License: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is strictly required. Experience driving commercial trucks or utility vehicles is a strong plus.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of horticulture, power tool safety (trimmers, blowers), and outdoor cleaning workflows.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to walk, stand, lift supplies into trucks, and work outdoors for 8 hours a day alongside your team in all weather conditions.
• Background Check: Must be willing to undergo a criminal history background verification.
