Job summary

Aegis Worldwide is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and a team of hourly employees in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on safe, efficient production while meeting quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or industrial experience.
• Experience supervising hourly production staff.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or structured problem-solving methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise hourly production employees and team leaders.
• Coordinate daily staffing, work assignments, overtime, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements are met.
• Monitor key production metrics including safety, quality, productivity, throughput, scrap, and downtime.
• Identify and resolve production, equipment, staffing, and quality issues.
• Coach employees, provide performance feedback, and support employee development.
• Partner with HR on hiring, onboarding, attendance, employee relations, and corrective actions.
• Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments to improve operations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, quality, safety, and cost reduction.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis, 5S, standard work, and other problem-solving methods.
• Maintain compliance with company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Communicate production priorities, performance, and issues to leadership and other shifts.

• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable working a 12-hour rotating schedule, including nights and weekends as needed.
