Job summary

Randstad USA is recruiting on behalf of a Logistics and Transportation firm to hire an Operations Supervisor for their Auburn, ME facility. This is a permanent, full-time role with first shift and hours 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

You will lead a team in warehouse operations, oversee inventory, safety, and vendor relations, and ensure efficient material flow. Candidates should have 2+ years in supervision and 5+ years in logistics, with MS Office and WMS experience.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation industry.
• Experience with Vendor and Client relations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Assign work activities and monitor group activities .
• Instruct associates in proper equipment, operational and maintenance procedures.
• Guide team in understanding housekeeping requirements.
• Monitor and maintain availability of materials, tools and supplies.
• Ensure team adherence to all safety procedures and programs.
• Oversee the usage of equipment.
• Manage inventory, including monitoring levels and performing merchandise reconciliation.
• Assist with resolving problems to ensure maximum associate productivity.
