Job summary

Helen of Troy in Arlington, TN is hiring an Operations Supervisor on the 2nd shift to lead a distribution center team and drive efficiency. You will analyze and rectify labor and vendor issues while upholding company processes and safety standards.

You will mentor staff, track daily goals, and report performance metrics; participate in divisional plans and policies. Requires strong English communication, MS Office proficiency, and ability to lift 40 pounds; bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with related experience.
• Strong leadership, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily inbound and outbound operations for a distribution unit.
• Mentor and train staff; enforce established processes.
• Troubleshoot vendor issues, minimize charge-backs, provide root-cause analysis.
• Monitor goals and report workload, labor, and performance metrics.

You will analyze, troubleshoot, and recommend corrective plans of actions to minimize labor and vendor compliance issues.Manage overall daily inbound and outbound operations of a business unitMentor, develop, and train staffTroubleshoot and correct vendor compliance issues while minimizing charge-backs and provide root cause analysis with corrective feedbackMonitor and report daily goals and objectives to management such as daily workload, daily dollar, labor reports, etc.Follow a routine based on established procedureAnalyze facts to determine action based on standard practices and proceduresParticipate in formulating and executing divisional plans and administering policies, objective and programsParticipate in highly creative work on abstract research problems in highly technical areas requiring advance knowledgeSkills needed to be successful in this role:Excellent oral and written English communication skills. Intermediate management skills.Intermediate organizational skills.
