Job summary

JBS Foods is offering a 10-week summer internship to help identify operational gaps and improve process efficiency across the production environment. You will support the operations team, learn continuous improvement, and shadow production practices that uphold food safety.

The program emphasizes cross-functional exposure, leadership coaching, and hands-on projects with real impact. Candidates must be enrolled in a four-year university, maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA, and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in four-year university or pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Will provide support to the operations team.
• Learning effective and efficient operations within a culture of continuous improvement.
• Shadow and learn how to maintain production practices that support the food safety program in the facility.
• Understand how to monitor product quality and production operations to meet customer expectations.
• Create an environment where all are active team members, recognize successes and challenge others to improve.
• Shadow production supervisors and learn day-to-day operations.
• Complete and present a project related to issues within the operations department.
