Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Executive Director, Business Operations & Strategy for CVS Media Exchange to shape operating models, governance, and scalable processes that drive double-digit growth and outstanding advertiser experiences.

You will lead a cross-functional team, establish OKRs and dashboards, manage budgets, and partner with Product, Marketing, DDAT, and enterprise teams to enhance automation, reporting, and efficiency across CMX.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in business operations, marketing operations, strategy, ad-tech, or related fields.
• 7+ years leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience designing and governing decision-making frameworks (RACI, DACI, etc.).
• Experience building scalable operating models and governance for rapid growth.
• Expertise automating workflows using project portfolio management and collaboration tools (Workfront, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet).
• Knowledge of media, advertising, retail media, digital marketing, or technology environments.
• Ability to manage operating budgets and vendor portfolios.
• Ability to partner across Product, Sales, Marketing, Client Success, Strategy, and Business Systems.
• Excellent executive communication, organizational leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute CMX operational strategy aligned to annual goals; design and govern operating models, governance frameworks, and business rhythms to improve effectiveness and growth.
• Define and manage business OKRs, executive dashboard reporting, performance management processes, executive reviews, and governance adherence across CMX.
• Drive operational efficiency by streamlining workflows, implementing scalable processes, removing friction points, accelerating decision-making, and establishing standardized operating procedures.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Business Systems, and other stakeholders to optimize technology platforms, improve automation, reporting, BI, and resource management; create shared standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing operations organization, fostering accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
