Mecklenburg County Government seeks a DCR Business Operations Division Director to lead strategic planning, financial control, and program evaluation within the Department of Community Resources. This role coordinates data, quality improvement, and contract management across divisions while reporting to the Department Director.

The position emphasizes collaboration with HR, IT, and external partners, plus potential duties during emergencies.

Competenze

Minimum of six years of progressively responsible management experience in human services business operations.
Bachelor's Degree in business administration, public administration, public health, human services or a technical field, or related field.
Combination of relevant education and relevant experience accepted.

Mansioni

Develop, implement and analyze short- and long-term organizational goals and strategies while ensuring compliance with applicable rules.
Oversee financial aspects including budget preparation, contracting, financial reporting, grants, and vendor management.
Lead program evaluation, data collection for performance measures, and quality improvement initiatives.
Coordinate staff development, IT support, and cross-department collaboration to improve services.
Support recruitment, retention and communications and participate in emergency/disaster operations when needed.
