Job summary

First Connect Insurance is seeking a foundational operations professional to drive strategic priorities through data-driven decision-making. You will own projects end to end, diagnose drivers of performance, prioritize initiatives, and execute them hands-on with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate is analytically sharp, comfortable with ambiguity, and motivated by moving metrics through their work. This is a highly hands-on role with visibility into business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in a fast-paced, analytically rigorous environment (consulting, investment banking, or high-growth tech).
• Comfort with Excel; SQL is a plus.
• Ability to form concrete business insights from messy datasets.

Responsibilities

• Dig into data independently to understand what's driving a business metric and why.
• Form a real point of view on which initiatives would move the metric, backed by analysis.
• Make the case for what should be prioritized and why; turn your view into a concrete project plan with clear deliverables and success metrics.
• Drive execution: coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance, and do hands-on operational work yourself.
• Navigate ambiguity and keep initiatives moving even without direct authority over the teams involved.
• Track KPIs after launch and communicate clearly whether initiatives are working.
• Diagnose what's not working and recommend concrete changes.
• Build repeatable ways to analyze and report on metrics over time.
